Food systems under stress

By 2050, there will be almost 10 billion people on the planet. Our current agri-food systems are not ready, and face a number of challenges:

At Montpellier, a center of excellence in agronomy and ecology, researchers are exploring innovative solutions for producing more with less, while preserving biodiversity, soil quality and human health, and thus achieving sustainable development goal no. 2 “Zero Hunger” of the 2030 Agenda.
