Context

African agriculture is highly vulnerable to climate change, yet local research capacity remains limited. It is essential to train a new generation of African scientists to produce appropriate, sustainable solutions to the continent’s climate challenges.

Objectives

Build African scientific capacity in sustainable agriculture, create sustainable North-South collaborations, and integrate an inclusive, gender-sensitive approach into climate research.
